Restaurant Review: Allpress Espresso

Who: Allpress Espresso

What: In 1986, the love of traditional Italian espresso prompted Michael Allpress to leave his career as a chef and establish one of New Zealand’s first specialist espresso coffee companies, Allpress Espresso. Ten years later, Michael combined his talents with lifelong friend and well known Sydney restaurateur, Tony Papas to sucessfully take Allpress Coffee into the Australian market.

Ruby’s Review:

I was in Alexandria and noticed Allpress as I drove past. It was lunch time, so I decided to stop and try it out

We Ate the Breakfast Mixed Plate. Avocado, tomato, boiled egg & ricotta with your choice of toast ($8.00)

We Drunk coffee ($3.40) and peppermint tea ($3.70)

The decor will be loved by coffee lovers. Allpress has its very own Roastery

You’ll love It if you want a trendy cafe without overpriced food

It will cost you the food was reasonably priced. Prices on the menu range from $3.50 for toast to $9.00 for a gourmet sandwich

The verdict Pleasant waiters, quick service and reasonably priced healthy food means I will be back.
